Global styles

  • You’re welcome

  • Hi David

I’m sorry, I have an another question about Global style : how can I set the opacity and its color of a background image in global settings ?

For the moment I’m adding an overlay of the color of my background’s site and change its opacity but is this the right way to do this ?

For a normal background image, that is the correct way to do it.

If you needed to actually change the Opacity of the image then it would require a Pseudo element background. Which is doable in a global style, but more complicated. Let me know.

  • Hi David,

    Thanks for the information.

Yes, if possible, I would like to know how to do it like I will have to do this with a next project.

And is it possible to add a form in a global ?

  • For example:

    1. add a Container Block to a page, and give it some Sizing > Min Height OR some Padding to give it some height.
    2. Create a New Global Style and give it a name eg. has-pseudo-background
2.1 Choose a blank style to start.
2.2 in the style set the Position to Relative.
2.3 now at the top of the setitngs sidebar select the MORE option beside the CSS selector name, and watch here:

here we are creating a :before pseudo selector, that ie. .has-pseudo-background:before
    To house the image.

  • Thanks a lot David ! 🙂
