Hello Support,
I have been trying to improve my page speed, but the metric still shows that I need to make some improvements.
Recently I asked my domain support to check it out. They concluded that I should contact my theme provider, so here I am 🙂Is it something you can help me with;
Or what suggestions do you have for me so the metric will get to “green” so to speak?

Hi Mike,
The first thing I would recommend is to test the site without Google Tag.
Google Tag is notorious for being detrimental to a site’s performance.
If you don’t have a caching/optimization plugin, I would recommend using one as well.

Hi Fernando,
thanks for the feedback.
I already have the SiteSpeed caching in place for my website.
I believe there is no need to use any third-party cache plugins. Also, the Google tags are present in the Google Site Kit plugin under Google Analytics and Google AdSense.
I temporarily removed them /deactivated the plugin/ but no difference. -
Hi there,
all of the diagnostics in that page speed insight report to the amount of Javascript loading on the page,
Reduce JavaScript execution time
Minimize main-thread work -> Script Evaluation
Reduce the impact of third-party code
Reduce unused JavaScriptIf you review any of those opportunities, within you see a lot of google scripts including:
ads, tag managers, funding scripts, recaptcha
In addition there is some adweber code.
All of those codes are being loaded before the browser can render the page which is causing the high FCP and LCP times.
Using plugins that can optimise a sites code by Delaying or Deferring the loading of 3rd party Javascript is the best fix for this issue. Plugins like PerfMatters, WP Rocket or Flying Scripts can all do this.

I don’t know… I tried the Flying Scripts, but there is no difference whatsoever.
Is it possible to remove the Google scripts manually or is there any other workaround?
-
I would recommend reaching out to the plugin’s support and letting them check if you are using the correct settings.
As the scripts are not added by us, I would not know how to remove them, unfortunately.

OK. Thanks a lot 🙂
