GPP / Background image / tablet

    Hi there,

    the background image of a landing page renders just fine on desktop and mobile. On tablet, however, it is not / seems to be heavily zoomed-in.

    We also noted that…

    (1) the issue appears only on tablet hardware/ iPad. The preview mode of the Customizer does not reveal the issue.
    (2) Replacing container option “Background / Use gradient” with “Color / Background + Background image / Transparency” does not help
    (3) The same issue appears on GPP powered Single and Multisite installations

    How would you go about fixing the issue.

    Hi there,

    its because of the fixed background image, mobile devices don’t support it and iPhones have a bug that cause it to “zoom” in.

    Use the Advanced Background option in GB Pro to set a separate background image on mobile without the Fixed Background Attachment.
