I cannot for the life of me get these Gutenberg navigation blocks to show the menu that I’m choosing. Every time I choose a new menu it just puts a random list of pages instead of the menu I’m choosing. It will show the correct menu inside the Gutenberg editor but when you go to look on the live site it’s just random every time.
I did some googling around and most people seem to think it’s the themes responsibility but I wasn’t sure where to look for help.
I have an block element before the header which has a 50/50 grid inside of it which has a navigation block inside both grid containers.
EDIT: I need to abandon this to show a client something in a meeting tonight.
It won’t let me have two separate menus, or select a pre-made menu. When I put in two separate menus it continually shows the same menu instead of two separate ones. For now I need to just use buttons for sake of showing my client the idea. But, I wanted the dropdown menu functionality. I wonder if I could use the Accordion Block from GB
Now when I just put buttons inside the grid containers they are not functioning properly on the front end. Is it just the block element that is having issues? Nothing seems to match what the editor is showing on the backend. Cleared cache and everything.

Hi there,

I can’t see how the theme can cause this issue. Have you tried activating a Twenty series WP theme to confirm this?

How would an block element work on that theme?

Hmm I feel like there is a bit of misunderstanding here. Is this still the issue?

If so it should be unrelated to GP’s block elements and you can test in a static page or single post using a Twenty series WP theme.
If you are now referring to a different issue now then please open a new topic so the topic title matches the question.
Thanks!
