How can I find my old topics?

  • I must admit that I’m completely lost here. I’ve just found out that you closed the old forum, and I had to create a new account to login to the new one. (Which is a little bit annoying, to be honest.) How would I find the topics I started in the old forum? These are most important for me. Did you start the new forum without importing the content? Will you keep the old forum open? For me this was the most valuable source of information regarding Generatepress.

I’m sure you had good reasons for creating a new support forum, but this was quite a shock.

    Thanks, Mike

  • Hi there,

apologies for the shock and any frustration.

If you login to your account at https://generatepress.com you can view your profile and still search the legacy support forum: https://generatepress.com/support

The legacy forum will still be accessible. It just won’t accept new topics / replies.

  • Hi David,

sorry, I didn’t want to be rude. It was just one of these “What-the-f***”-moments. 🙂 Good to know that old topics are still available. This is kind of a personal knowledge database for me. In addition to that, I can usually find an answer for half of my questions just using Google. Very often it finds a post in the forum.

    Thanks again,

    Mike

  • No offence taken, i can imagine the shock – you’re not the only one. We should have added a splash page explaining that.
