How to format right sidebar

  • I have a right sidebar on my page. I used a css code snippet to set the width to 350px. However, the actual width of the sidebar is 400px with 45px padding on the left and right. There is also 65px gap between the content on the left of the sidebar and the sidebar. I do not see any way to control the padding within the sidebar or to control the space between the page content and the sidebar. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

  • Hello there,

There’s a sidebar width setting in Appearance > Customize > Layout > Sidebars. Reference: https://docs.generatepress.com/article/sidebar-layout-overview/

It’s best to alter it from there.

  • Many thanks. I over looked the that setting.

  • You’re welcome!
