Howdy,
I’m trying to have a headline block align to the right of my content, while the actual text is centered on the page. I’ve tried to find documentation for this, but I couldn’t find anything. Can I do this with one headline block, or would I need multiple ones, and how would I do this?

Hi there,
Can’t quite picture what you are trying to achieve based on the description.
Any chance you have a mockup or an example to show?
Let me know 🙂

Definitely – if you look at the first testimonial in the sales page below, you’ll see that I have the ” on the right, but then would like the “See What Customers Are Saying” centered.
Does that make sense?

LOL. My bad. I’m trying to have it on the left.

Haha I see, this can be achieved with a little bit CSS. Please try to follow the steps below:
1. Add an additional CSS class to the headline block, eg.
left-icon
.
https://wordpress.com/support/wordpress-editor/adding-additional-css-classes-to-blocks/2. Select the headline block, set its
display
toflex
,justify-content
tocenter

.gb-headline.left-icon .gb-icon { position:absolute; left:0; }
Adding CSS: https://docs.generatepress.com/article/adding-css/
Let me know if this helps!

Well, that worked a little too well – It’s way out on the Left-hand border now, and not inline with the block that it was in.

Hello there,
To clarify, do you want something like this?: https://share.getcloudapp.com/L1uDyrL4

SouthTech Creations
Yes. That is exactly what I’m looking for.

Set the position of the Container Block with the white background to
relative

SouthTech Creations
Awesome! That did the trick. Thanks!
