Infinity scroll botton on custom archive page

  • Hi,

I’m trying to make a custom author page and category archive pages. And here I want to have infinity scroll or a “Load more” button. I have figured out, that I can achieve this with Generatepress standard theme settings, but not when using block-elements. When using block elements with a query loop, the only option I got is to add a pagination, which I don’t want.

So is there a smart and easy way to add the “Load more” button to my custom elements block with the query loop?

    Best regards,
    Martin πŸ™‚

  • Hi there,

No, there isn’t a “smart and easy” way πŸ™‚

You will have to use the default archive page.

However, you can create block element – content template instead of block element – loop template to control the layout of individual posts in the archive.

  • Perfect – thanks! πŸ™‚

  • No Problem πŸ™‚
