Hello,
The website is having INP problems that did not occur with a previous theme.
What’s more, it only happens to me on this website. Two technicians tell me that the problem is an excessive DOM and that it is a theme failure.
the problem is throughout the web, but the metrics are much worse in the articles than in the pages.
Might you help me?
Thank you so much.

Hi there,
If you look at the Diagnostic Sections, there are two critical issues you need to address;
Eliminate render-blocking resources
andReduce unused CSS
.Eliminate render-blocking resources issue is pointing to themes font icons – go to Customizer > General and change the Icon Type to SVG to remove the font request.
Reduce unused CSS – this one pointing to the block editor stylesheet, it flags this CSS because a significant % of that CSS is not required on that particular page.
What it cannot calculate is that some of the unused CSS is required for other pages, user login status or elements that are loaded after initial page load.Yes you could go to the extent of creating a Critical CSS path so it loads the the necessary CSS first and defers the rest for later loading. But this is a huge task and really not worth it for such a small amount of CSS. So i would ignore it.

Hello,
Reduce unused CSS is 14 kb and as you say, it is not worth it.
Regarding changing a to SVG ok, but that action alone will not improve the INP.
If you have tested the urls that I have given you in theory, and I follow theory because lighthouse or pagespeed is one thing, if you do not have enough visits to the tested url, they do not provide data on real users.
I will have no choice but to change the theme after all the effort spent in using Generatepress with Generateblocks.
Now I deactivate GenerateBlocks and I will see the performance of real users and I will tell you, but what you have answered is not the cause of a high INP.
Thank you.
