Installing GP Premium on WP.com

  • Hi,

    I am having issues trying to install GeneratePress Premium in a WP.com website (I have a business plan).

    As I cannot buy the premium plugin from WP.com store, I tried to install it via ZIP upload. Everything goes fine until last step that I get a “server_error” message, not able to upload the plugin.

    Any help around here?

  • Yes. I already have installed GeneratePress and GenerateBlocks. I am following the steps from GP and GB to installed both pro versions of the plugins, and both of them are giving me error.

  • Is there more information on the “server_error” message?

    Can you try reaching out to WordPress.com to see if they have an insight regarding this?

  • It says no more than ‘server_error’.

    I’ll try uploading the plugin via SFTP, and also send an email to WP.com support.

    It seems that in some of the try and errors, the plugins did installed, hence that’s probably why it was giving those errors afterwards.

    Anyways, I already activated them and are working smoothly.
