Hello, I’m currently using the Scribe theme and I want to keep my Archive Featured Image the same, no matter the post it’s referencing. Unfortunately, I can’t get it to stop showing what the featured image is for that single post.
Is this a priority issue to adjust?

just to be clear … do you want every post to have the same featured image in the archives ?

No, sorry. I’d like every post to have its own featured image. But currently, the most recently published post sits at the top of the page of the Archives as the Featured post. Is there a way to have whichever article sits in that container override and default to a particular image?

Ah, ok, so if you want that one post to use a constant image.
Then go to Appearance > Elements and edit the element titled:Featured ArticlesSelect the top most Container Block, in the toolbar click the data icon and remove the featured image dynamic data option.
Then go to the block settings ( sidebar ) -> Background and set your own image there.

Thanks David. I actually did that and the element looks right but when I visit the live site, it still has the original post image.

Do you have any caches on the site ? If so can you try clearing them.

Yes, the site is here. You can see that the featured post image has the same image as the single post it links to.

Yes, please see the images in the private section. The one titled “wrong” is what I see live. The other one is what my element is set to that I’d like to see. Thanks.

The Dynamic Data option in the Container Blocks Toolbar was still set to show the Featured Image. I removed that -
