Left justify block with header

  • Hello,
    I created this new page “Services” and the block that I put in doesn’t left align with the header.
    Can you please show me which setting I should change? I changed the alignment settings and still can’t seem to make it go.

    Thank you.

  • Hi there,

    select the Cover Block and in its block toolbar uncheck the Wide Alignment option.

  • Thanks, David! It looks a lot better but there is still some left side padding on the cover block that I can’t find the setting for…

    Please have a look here: https://staging.magnuslu.com/wp/services/

  • The cover block has a 1em padding around it by default, as the cover block is not from us, we don’t have control over it. I’m not sure if it has a setting to change that as well.

    If you can’t find that setting, try adding this CSS to override the default cover block style.

    .wp-block-cover, .wp-block-cover-image {
        padding: 0;
    }

  • Thanks Ying.

  • You are welcome   🙂

  • Hello
    I’m having the same problem on the same page but this time I just have a container of text and a button.
    I don’t see the width controls here.
    What is determining the width in this case? Basically I just want the content to be left justified with the logo, like on the other pages.

    Thanks,
    Magnus

  • Sorry, never mind! I changed the “Content Container” to default on the Page settings and it’s aligned now.

  • Glad you worked it out 🙂
