Make content images wider than text in main container

  • Hello,

I’ve been going over this for quite some time now, I cannot seem to figure it out.

I want to make all images in the content of my website (on desktop only) wider than the text in the body.

For example, body is 736px wide and the image should span 110%, overflow a bit to the sides, but remain centered.
All images are added with gutenberg “image block” or “post featured image block”. The code should target both.
I also have image in two columns, 50% each, that also need to overflow to the sides.

I’m not sure I’m explaining this correctly, so here’s an image of what I’m trying to achieve:

    Image size

How would I achieve this in GP premium?

  • Hi there,

Could you please re-add the reference image? It seems like it’s not linked.
