Menu toggle – mobile view

  • Hi there,

I notice that the mobile menu seems to not toggle the sub-menus but instead slide out at the top of the main menu.

  • Hi,

I have fixed this one by setting the Off Canvas Panel -> off

But I noticed that when I scroll the navigation menu with the sub-sub-menu it autmatically closes the menu then I have to go to the hamburger menu again.

  • Hi there,

But I noticed that when I scroll the navigation menu with the sub-sub-menu it autmatically closes the menu then I have to go to the hamburger menu again.

For long menus that exceed the screen length, it’s better to use the off-canvas navigation to avoid this issue.

For the initial question, I don’t quite understand, can you enable off canvas menu for me to see the issue? And can you provide an screenshot to help me understand the issue better?

    Thanks!

  • Please refer to my previous reply:

  • But if I am going to choose off-canvas, the mobile or on the menu doesn’t toggle; the submenu’s are overlapping instead of toggling down when you click it.

Pls refer on this screen record https://drive.google.com/file/d/1NwmoFc0OCxKrA6WN_DvixyEMsYIUvTox/view?usp=sharing

I want to achieve when you click the parent menu – it will push down the parent menu (toggle).

  • Hi there,

can you activate the Off Canvas panel so i can inspect the site code to see whats causing that ?

  • Hi David,

    It’s on now.

  • All the CSS on the site has been “optimized” and cached in Litespeed
And that seems to be the issue ie. its loading the wrong CSS.

Can you disable Litespeed and clear any caches to test.

  • Hi David,

It’s still the same, I remember yesterday on our staging site, litespeed was disabled. Sorry but we really need the website today so we merge it, so even with or without Litespeed it is still the same.

  • Hmmm… there are styles loading on the site that are affecting the off canvas menu items.
Problem is i can’t see where from as you have several places where custom CSS has been added.

What CSS do you have that is related to menu items and links?

  • Actually no CSS for menu items and link, I didn’t change any of it. If does I just get the classes, then tweak a little etc.

  • Hi David,

I fixed it, can you just help me to set the font-size for mobile version?

  • font-size for the menu items?

If so, go to customize > typography, add off-canvas menu item to the typography manager, and you can set font size there for desktop/tablet/mobile.
