mobile score

  • I am using the information theme.

When I diagnose my homepage performance issues in PageSpeed Insights, I get 50-60 points on mobile and 90-95 points on desktop. Mobile performance is greatly reduced.
I’m using Autoptimize and WP Fastest Cache plugins to solve this problem, but the score is still significantly low.
    Looking at the problem

Maximum paint elements with content 10,570 milliseconds
Minimizing main thread work 2.6 seconds
Reduce the impact of third-party code Third-party code blocked the main thread for 460 ms.
Potential savings by removing render-blocking resources: 690 milliseconds
Potential savings from reducing unused JavaScript: 97 KiB
Potential savings from reducing unused CSS: 43 KiB
Preload maximum paint image with content
Serving static assets using an efficient cache policy 1 resource found
Make sure text remains visible while webfonts load

    The problem occurs as above
I believe that the maximum paint element with content value is a big problem.
I would like you to tell me a solution to solve the above problem.

I would also like to know if it is possible to set the desktop and mobile screens separately in Page – Home in the information theme.

  • Hi there,

I would also like to know if it is possible to set the desktop and mobile screens separately in Page – Home in the information theme.

You can hide content on different device sizes by selecting a block, such as a Container Block, and in the block settings Advanced > Additional CSS Class(es) and add one if the GP hide-on-* classes, see here:

    https://docs.generatepress.com/article/responsive-display/#using-our-hide-on-classes

  • I would also like to know if it is possible to set the desktop and mobile screens separately info theme Page – Home in the information theme.

Is it possible to set “Info Theme” – “Page” – “Home” separately for mobile and desktop?

For example, if 10 pages are displayed on a desktop screen, 5 pages are displayed on mobile.

  • It is possible but its not very reliable and you would have to make sure your server can support 2 separate caches, ie. one for Mobile and one for Desktop.

Check if thats possible, if it is ill see what code is possible.
