New pattern libary?!

  • Hello,

a big advantage of genrate blocks was the pattern libary, which showed all blocks in action and whose code you could easily copy. You could even search for patterns and blocks.

Now you seem to have deactivated this function. which is a pity, because inserting the pattern libary block, struggling with filters and not having a search function to fall back on suddenly makes it unnecessarily complicated and difficult.

For example, if you search for “author” on https://generateblocks.com/pattern-library/ you will find exactly 4 blocks. But you won’t find them under any filtering in the pattern libary block.

Unfortunately, this is a step backwards in terms of user-friendliness and i don’t know why it was done this way. Do you think it’s better this way?

    Best regards
    Irena

  • Ok, i found a solution in your documentation: https://docs.generateblocks.com/article/pattern-library/

But anyway, the previous solution of seeing the blocks in action and then simply copying and pasting the respective code to any place on my page was definitely better and faster.

  • Hi there,

    thanks for the feedback
We will be adding more search facets to the Pattern Library at a future date.
Try using the Bulk Insert option if you’re looking to add multiple patterns in one go, its a real time saver.
