I have a site that was built using GP before blocks and recently upgraded everything and migrated over to Blocks. Everything works great except I can’t seem to figure out how to replace the old nav search with the new full page modal.

Hi there,
you will need to:
1. Customizer > General and switch the Structure to Flexbox.
NOTE: This is a one way trip, and although there have been no reported issues in doing so, we do recommend backups are made before doing so.2. Customizer > Layout > Primary Navigation
Uncheck the Navigation Search.
Publish the changes and exit the customizer
Then return to this customizer setting where the new option should be visible -
