Okay, I created it and sent the private information
-
The page has been set to full width.
https://app.screencast.com/gx8hnWxJJW1c2However, your custom CSS limits the
inside-article
element to be800px
:
https://app.screencast.com/UJIar0C6GL9lAIf the CSS is supposed for posts, not pages, then change the CSS selector to
.single-post .inside-article
. -
So like this?

The text seems to be gray so maybe it doesnt recognise it as code, but it doesnt seem to be working
-
You need to remove the original CSS.
-
If I do that then the post edges become squared again.
Otherwise the About Us page starts working well. How do I make the sides round again.

What are you trying to achieve?
Do both containers of posts and pages have round corners?
Only single posts container to be 800px? And pages are full width? -
I want that my post rounds have round edges but that the about us page covers the whole width of the site when opened.

Hi there,
in the Page editor, check the sidebar settings and set the Sidebar options to: Content NO Sidebar.
-
Matti
Is it not this?
-
David
It is.
Try disabling your cache plugin as i see a different layout when logged into the site. -
Matti
I disabled it. Still doesnt seem to work.
-
Sidebars are disabled on the page when I check.
But as I said before, you are using CSS to set
inside-article
width to800px
, it affects all pages/posts on your site.If you do not want to change that CSS, then add this CSS to override it:
.page.full-width-content .inside-article { width: 100%; }
-
Matti
Ok. I just inserted the code and the about us page now looks great. Although is there a simple code command where the post edges can be rounded a little bit
-
It’s full width, I don’t think a rounded edge can look good.
However, I added border-radius in the below CSS:
.page.full-width-content .inside-article { width: 100%; border-radius: 20px; }
-
Matti
This made the About us page round edged. How do I make the regular posts on the homefeed round edged?
-
:is(.blog, .archive) article.post .inside-article { border-radius: 16px; }
