Page Layout

  • Hi,

I have recently switched to a chef theme on my website, but I am facing an issue where certain elements on some pages are not working properly.

For instance, on a particular post, the related recipes and right sidebar elements are not working. I initially suspected a caching issue and deactivated the WP Rocket plugin, but the problem persisted.

I have attached the link and the image for reference.

    Any suggestions?

    Thank you

  • Hi there,

Deactivate the WPRocket plugin first, then try regenerating the GenerateBlocks CSS by navigating to Dashboard > GenerateBlocks > Settings and clicking the Regenerate CSS Files button.

Give that a try and see if it fixes the issue.

  • Hi Alvind,

Thank you for your prompt response. I followed your instructions, but the issue persists.

    Thanks

  • Just to confirm, is there any other page that has the same layout issue? I’ve tried to check other pages, and it seems that this is the only one, right?

Are there any other blocks from other plugins added to this page?

  • Hi Alvind,

Yes, all the pages are fine except this one. All the pages have the same plugins, elements, and blocks. I double-checked, and everything seems similar to the other pages.

    thanks

  • Is this specific post using classic editor?

  • Hi Ying,

No. I am using Gutenberg on my website.

I was using the FAQ block. I thought it might be causing it so I deleted it, but the issue is still there.

    Thanks

  • That is very weird, can you go to dashboard > Genrateblocks and set the CSS print method to inline?

  • Hi Ying,

I did it both dashboard> generate block> CSS > inline as well as external, but it is still the same.

It appears that the issue is only present on a few pages and not on every post, despite all posts being created the same.

    Thanks

  • If possible, could you provide temporary login credentials for your site so we can take a closer look at what’s going on?

  • Sure.

    Here is the login link.

  • Sorry, could you please share the link to the page with the layout problem again? It seems to have been removed from the private information section.

  • No problem.

    Here is the link.

  • Could you double-check? It seems like the link is not included.

  • Sorry. Here is the link attached.

    Thanks

  • It’s caused by the last block of that specific post.

I created a new post with Test title, copy all content from the post in question, paste it to the test post, the same issue happens.

I removed the last block whish is WPRM recipe, and the issue is fixed.

I copied the WPRM recipe block from other post that does not have issue and paste it to the test post, and the issue does not occur.

So check the WPRM recipe block in the post in question, and check if there’s any error.

I’ll leave the test post in draft state, so you can check and test yourself.
