“Paged” class missing for paginated posts

  • I am using Elementor with GP and created two post loops on the same blog page; one is a single post large image featuring the most recent post and the other loop includes the other posts offset by 1. There is pagination enabled for the second loop, but when I go to the next page the first loop with the featured post still shows up at the top. I was going to hide it using CSS and the “paged” class selector, but noticed that paginated pages in GP do not use that class. Is there a class that I can use to select that element for paginated pages 2+?

  • Hi there,

can i see the site ?

  • Yes – It’s a staging site, so I’ve provided the URL and credentials in the private information.

  • The page you attached is a static page, it’s not an archive, so no paged class would show for paged page, this is normal behaviour.
