PageHero on a product category page doesnt show up

  • Hi there,
I have an issue with pagehero I want to use for a specific product category page.

It seems like my Standard PageHero element is interfering with the PageHero for the “Blumenkasten” product category page.

    Here are the settings.

    Standard PageHero:
    Element type: Page Hero
    Quick Hook Select: After header
    Hook Name: after_header

    Location: Entire Site

Exclude: Front Page, Page: All Pages, Posts: All Posts, Blog, Product Archive, Product Category: Blumenkasten

    Blumenkasten PagerHero:
    Element type: Page Hero
    Quick Hook Select: After header
    Hook Name: after_header

    Location: Product Category: Blumenkasten

    Exclude: nothing selected here

When I go to the category page, the intended PageHero doesn’t show up but the standard one instead. Also under Elements it shows me in the list of all Elements used in that page: Standard PageHero (Page Hero). What can I do to make sure, that the PageHero for the product category page: Blumenkasten can be displayed on only that product category page?

Thanks for your quick help on this.

  • Hi there,

the -> Product Category: Blumenkasten Location is for the Single Product.

Use the Product Category Archive: Blumenkasten

  • Thx a lot David. That solved the problem.

  • Glad to hear that
