Query Block Not Displaying on Single Post Element

  • Hi there,

I’m facing an issue that seems like it should have a simple solution, but despite my attempts at troubleshooting, I haven’t been able to resolve it on my own. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

Here’s the situation: I’ve created a query block with 10 posts to appear at the bottom of a single post element. The configuration for this block is as follows:

    Select Post Type: Posts
    Posts Per Page: 10
    Taxonomies: Categories
    Select Terms: Blank

I have a similar query block on a Front Page element, and it displays correctly. However, I’m unable to get the query block on the single post element to display at all.

Once I resolve this issue and get the problematic query block to display, my next goal is to have it show only the posts related to the category corresponding to the single post, rather than displaying posts from all categories on the site. Do you have any suggestions on how to accomplish this?

  • Hi there,

    Select Terms: Blank

You have to select a term, is none is selected, the query loop will return nothing.

  • Thank you so much! I can’t believe I overlooked that!

  • You are welcome   🙂
