For example, here is an article from Desserts. Related posts show posts from all categories. -

Dinnercategory is assigned to the categorydinnerand also categoryrecipes, same goes to the post fromDessertcategory.All the related posts are from category
recipes, I don’t see there’s anything wrong with it.You might want to tweak your category settings, if all posts are assigned to category
recipes, then all posts are from the same category. Hope that’s clear.Let me know if anything is not clear 🙂
