Remove GB query loop from shop page

  • Hi
I created a shop page with woocommerce.
There are currently 2 loops on the page:
    1. GB query loop pf products
    2. Woo’s product grid.

I would like to remove GB query loop from that page – how?

    Thanks,
    Dan

  • Hi there,

Not sure if I fully understand.

The shop page is handled by WooCommerce itself and there wouldn’t be any GB content on the in there by default unless you added it somehow – maybe with an Element?

Let me know if I’m missing something here.

  • You are right.
There was a loop template running on all archive pages.
IS the correct way to exclude the ‘product archive’ templates? will it also exclude the category and tag archives too?

    Dan

  • Excluding the Product archive should work.

The best way to learn and determine things like this is to try it as all changes on websites are reversible 🙂

  • Thanks Leo,
Although the shop page is technically and ‘Archive’ page, I would find a way of warning GB users that if they have configured an archive loop, it will also show up in the shop’s main page.

    Dan

  • No problem 🙂

These archives, shop and blog etc are all defined by WordPress and we simply cannot have a warning for everything.
