I want to add a search page to my site. The Search block is not available in the blocks menu.
My WP software is up to date.

Hi there,
edit a page, and from the 3 dot menu in the Toolbar, select Preferences, then check in the Blocks Panel to make sure the Search Block is checked.

It’s not showing a search block on that page.
I searched the page with cmd-F, and also used the in-page search as shown here:
The screenshot shows all matching blocks, and search is not one of them.

This shouldn’t be a theme-related issue.
Can you activate a Twenty series WP theme to test if the same issue occurs there?

I activated 2023 and tried adding a search block. There was none in the overlay menu.
By the way, I have the Relevanssi plugin installed, but it shouldn’t make a difference. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling it.

That means it’s not a theme issue so it’s not something we can help here. The editor is entirely handled by WordPress core.
You would need to go through the debugging tips like disabling all custom functions and plugins to test.
If that still doesn’t help then it might be worth checking with WP’s support team to see what could cause this.

OK, thank you. I have about 15 plugins so that could be an issue.
