Hi,
I’ve seen some posts on the search modal that it has trouble with WPML.
None have been replied to as fixed.
Can this be confirmed before we switch. -
Hi there,
Can you link us to those posts?

Hello,
This is one:
https://generatepress.com/forums/topic/how-to-pass-wpml-parameters-to-the-new-navigation-search-button/#post-2596062There where also comments on the release post of the search modal.
I’m using unique domains for each language so I can’t test this in staging. Else I would have just tested it. But I want to be sure there are no problems before I switch on our main site since there is no way back.

can we see your website ?

Hello David,
Ofcourse, it’s in the details.
-
Hmmm…
try the PHP Snippet that Tom provides here: -
Hello David,
Thanks for the advice.
But since you nor Tom are sure the new search works with WPML I will postpone the update.
Hopefully this can be tested fully. -
That topic is quite old, I found that as you’re still using the old GP navigation search, which that filter works with.
In theory and going by the very little number of support topics we receive on this matter, I believe the search should work out of the box, as the search returns the a value using the current URL.
It might be worth asking WPML for some input.
