Search Modal

  • Hi,
we use for better search possibilities the live ajax search from relevanssi. It works with all wordpress search fields on the website but not with the generatepress search modal provided inside the primary navigation. How can I change this?

Yes, I can hook the wordpress search block inside the primary navigation, but the generatepress search modal is a lot more beautiful.

    Thanks
    Manja

  • Hi there,

in Appearance > Elements, create a new Block Element.
And in the element settings sidebar , set the Element Type to Search Modal
Now add your search block or shortcode to the editor.
Whatever is in the editor will replace the default search from inside the modal

  • Ah I see. Thanks a lot!
