Hi,
I Know that there’s no GP or GB block for create an slider with static or dynamic content.
I think that it is a very useful resource when building sites, and I don’t want to install a mastodontic “elementor” or whatever site-builder just for this single feature. Actually I love GP&GB for its simplicity, but I always miss the slider block, I was wondering if the addition of any kind of slider is in your next features checklist? maybe?Meanwhile, do you have any recommendation for a lightweight plugin that solves this matter (image slider, posts or CPTs slider)?
Thanks.

@mafsdisseny Apologies, I’m not coming here to help, but actaully looking for exactly this use case as I need a slider on a project and don’t want to overload with “do everything” plugins.
Would be great (if it existed) to have a block where we could embed a query loop. Maybe:
– Slider
– – Query Loop
– – – Grid
– – – – Slide
– – – – – Post TemplateI have tested a few from the repos but nothing seems to suit.

Hi there,
it is on our list of features for this year.
In the meantime if you want – theres this article from one of our users that explains how to build a slider using GB:

@David Ooh. Exciting! Can’t wait.
Thanks for the link 👍

Wow @David, excellent news!
by the way, the article that you linked is awesome, it is a straight and lightweight solution, I will give it a try, it seems pretty easy to implement!
Just curious, is that mentioned 2024 feature list posted anywhere?
There is nothing to apologize @Neil, happy that the post has been of interest 😉

The list is not public as its part of the GB Pro GitHub timeline.
We recently added feedback pages for:
GenerateBlocks
https://feedback.generateblocks.comGeneratePress
https://feedback.generatepress.comWhere you can request features, and we plan to add a roadmap to that page once we get some more traction
