Social Icons in footer

  • Hi, I can’t seem to add another social icon in my footer without the formatting getting distorted. If I try to duplicate one of the icon it sets it below the row, rather than beside.
I wanted to add a linkedin social icon but having difficulty.

  • Hi there,

the social icons are in a grid column that is only 25% of the 1180px container width.
So theres no room in there for another icon, hence it creates a new row.

    Option A
Make the icons size and padding smaller so they all take up less space.

    Option B
Add another column to the container and make its width 100% , so it creates a new row.
Then move your icons inside that container.

  • Ok thanks will try your suggestions

  • Let us know how you get on

  • It’s not going too well lol. I had my site designer set this up originally but he’s no longer available and what seems like something really simple is surprisingly challenging.

  • Can you reshape the Site URL in the Private Information ? ( they get removed on topic resolution )

  • Will do!

  • Have a look now.
I moved the Social Icons to their own separate row so you can add more icons to it now.

  • That’s perfect. Thank you David.

  • You’re welcome
