Hi there, I am building my first ever site with GeneratePress and GenerateBlocks and I experiencing a major issue. The styling changes that I make to blocks in the block editor, and not being reflected on the front end.
Example, I have a generateblocks ‘container’ block. In the block editor I am giving this container block a grey background, making it 100vh and using flexbox to display the text and button inside the container in the center of the screen both vertically and horizontally. On the backend / in the block editor, it looks fine, but on the front end the container does not inherit any of the styling applied to it.
I have tried emptying cache (I am with WP Engine), I have tried deactivating all plugins except for GP and GB, I have tried clearing browser cache and cookies, and nothing works. I tried looking for a GP cache but couldn’t find anything. I have tried clicking to Regenerate CSS files in GP, but this does nothing either. So I am at a complete loss 🙁Just to clarify, this is only the styling that I am adding in the block editor – I can change the text content and things like that, but the styling just doesn’t show in the front end.
Please can you help?
Many thanks

Hi there,
something a little odd here.
See the HTML on the front end:https://app.screencast.com/0dhpjnn9kDy2l
The button you will note the class highlighted in green
gb-button-b7c63627
– thats a unique class that each block is given and to which we attach the local block styles.
Currently each GBlock whether it has any local styles or not will have one of those classes.
But as you can see the container blocks around the button do not.Any edits made to those blocks HTML or any functions that may be altering the code ?
If not, Duplicate the block and delete the original. Then go to Dashboard > GenerateBlocks > Setting and Regenerate the CSS there.
If the issue persists, disable all other plugins to check for conflicts.
Then if its still an issue disable any caches including OP Caches.
