Styling issue between content and footer element

  • Hi Support,

    I hope you are well. I am using the contained feature in GP and I am getting a weird white padded area at the bottom between the end of the content area and the start of the footer. This is happening on all of the pages that have this layout. I have pages with no columns and they don’t have the white bar on the bottom. I have gone through all of the containers and there is no bottom padding. Can you help me figure out where the white bar is coming from? I am attaching the the link to the page that is having the issue and another with no issue.

    Thanks for any help you can give. I appreciate it!!

    Will

  • Hi Will,

    That’s the bottom margin added by Wp to the columns block.

    If you want to remove the margin, add this CSS to override it:

    .site :where(.wp-block-columns) {
        margin-bottom: 0;
    }
  • Thanks Ying! That was perfect. I appreciate it!

  • You are welcome   🙂
