I have a CPT – testimonials.
I created a query loop which will display these testimonials.
I would like the complete post content (the testimonial) to display in the query loop, but I can just get the excerpt.
Is there a way to show the complete post content?Thanks,

Hi Dan,
Do you need to keep the HTML tags of the CPT? If not, just increase the excerpt word count.
If so, then it will require custom coding to output the post content.

Yes I do. There might be formatting and images.
I solved this by adding a wysiwyg acf field for the content. But why doesn’t the query loop have an option for natively adding the post’s content? Or using the gp-dynamic content block inside if it?Thanks,

WP used to allow adding post content block into GB query loop, however, they disabled it, and now the block can only be added to WP’s query loop block.

GP dynamic content block can still be used in GP’s element.

wow, that’s strange – any idea why they would add this limitation?

In my opinion it is on GB to build an alternative method displaying post content inside a GB Query Loop, if WP core deprecated the previous method. This is such basic functionality and a huge bummer to deal with right now.

it is something we are actively investigating and will implement our own version if WP continue to restrict access to the core block.
