In the old (better) pattern library, there were some nice heros with elements like gradients or unusual shapes that looked good right away.
Unfortunately, the new pattern library no longer has such things. Everything looks equally boring there.
Since I’m not a designer and can’t create nice gradients or shapes myself, I wanted to ask if there are plans to offer such design elements again in the new pattern library.

the new patterns serve as framework for building upon.
In future updates we will be adding more features to the system including “style kits” that will add more design opinion to the patterns. -

I totally agree. The old pattern library was much, much better. This new thing is totally useless. Can you please set up at least another “legacy” page?
Right now, I am thinking about looking for another theme altogether. It’s such a pity what happened. -

As a long-time pro user of both Generate Blocks and Generate Press, I’m so happy to see a long-awaited update to the pattern library.
As a designer, I have been looking at the old patterns with frustration and have been searching in vain for a good way to transition away from Generate Blocks, but now I don’t have to. The new pattern library is great and a good foundation for an even better pattern library in the future. I love that it’s minimalistic and easy to tweak into a unique design.
Great work on the typography and spacing.

This is embarrassing!
If this guy thinks the new pattern library is so cool that he has to copy his praise hymns everywhere, he should open his own thread for it!
