  • Thanks for the info David. I’ve created a user and provided admin access. Pasted the URL access below. Please have a look and let me know in case you need any further information.

  • OK, so the issue is in the post editor ALL of the content is inside a GB Container Block which has a Sizing > Width of 1000px.

Ideally you don’t want to add that Container Block to the post.
If you Drag all the content blocks out of the container block and then delete the container.
Your post content will now fill the width of the post.

The edit the Layout Element and in the content tab:
leave the Content Area as default

And set the Content Width to 1000px or whatever width you require.
This will limit the width of the post content and center it

  • Thanks David, I moved all the content out of container. Now it’s all over the page and not in the center of the page.
And if I change the content width in “Appearance” to 1000px it’s impacting the home page as well. it’s creating a bar in left side of home page.

Is it possible to change the width of posts only without impacting the home page or any other non post page?

  • Don’t edit the Customizer width.

Go to Appearance > Elements and edit your LAYOUT element.
In the Element go to the Content tab.
leave the Content Area as default
And set the Content Width to 1000px or whatever width you require.
Edit the Display Rule Location and make sure it only has a Location set to Posts -> ALL posts

  • that’s really helpful. Thanks, Heaps. Appreciate your help.
I’ll mark it as resolved. You have a good weekend ahead!!
