Hello, I’m experiencing the same issue described in this topic.
I have 5 different categories, all of them with a loop template block element for category archive. I also have other taxonomies archives, including custom taxonomies and global archive. All of them have pagination enabled.
Pagination is working well in all of them but one, which should have only 4 pages but shows 18 page numbers, all of them with the same posts as first page.
I already clear cache, and the issue persists.

That’s odd, did you add the Pagination manually? It should be within the Query Loop.

I did copy some pagination containers from one archive into others, but I did it with all the block elements containing archives.
I found the error: Indeed, the pagination was outside the Query Loop. probably moved it by mistake in some edit iteration.
I put it within the Query Loop and it works now.
