Problems with defined widths.

  • Heya,

Yes that seems to fix the loading of the elements when I disabled the CDN.
I already turned off the caching.

When I turn it back on – it goes away again, so i need to flush the CDN as well?

It’s a little odd it only effects the front page though.

Thanks for all your help guys I really appreciate it.
I will look into the CDN later and then come back and mark it as resolved. If that did the trick.

    Best regards

  • CDNs and caches can be a pain, and sometimes take time to propegate changes.
Best solution is to disable them whilst developing and re-enable them once complete.

If its a live site you’re working on and you don’t want those to be disabled for too long, then ask your host about a Staging site.
This is a clone of your live site, where you can make updates in isolation and then when you’re done the host can push the staging site to live.

  • Hi David,

Yes indeed – they sure are annoying. It’s not a live site so for now I just disabled them!

    Thanks again!

  • You’re welcome !
