Text wrap around image

  • I have trouble wrapping text around an image. I found this topic: https://generate.support/topic/text-wrap-around-image/ .

I tried using two methods; both paragraphs and Generate Blocks Image in one container, using float right on the picture and secondly in a grid using two containers.

The first method makes the text go through the image, the second method doesn’t let the text go below the image.

  • Hi there,

The first method requires the image to be added before the text, not after.

Can you give that a try?

  • That worked. Now I like to do this as well with the mobile version. It keeps putting it on top no matter how small I make the image. Can I make the image appear to the right in mobile as well?

  • Hi Jerroenpress,

This is what I’m, seeing on mobile: https://share.getcloudapp.com/6quJ9E2z

How do you want it to look like?

  • I like to have more control over it. I see now depending on the device (resolution) it either appears above the header (like with in Chrome as IPhone SE 375×667) or to the right quite messy. Is there a way to make it for example show below the last paragraph in the container for mobile (or below a certain resolution).

It is important for me to have a consistent neat look. How it looks on higher resolutions right now is good.

  • What if you choose Align center for the image block on mobile?

If you want the image to be at the bottom on mobile, set the Container to display:flex, direction:column-reverse (column + up arrow) for mobile.

  • “If you want the image to be at the bottom on mobile, set the Container to display:flex, direction:column-reverse (column + up arrow) for mobile. ”

That works except that it also puts the headline block (from Generate Blocks) to the bottom. I tried to make it work with putting the headline and paragraph in a container but then it doesn’t work as intended on higher resolutions anymore (there it also then shows the image at the bottom).

Is there a way to make it work with containers like above (two for the text and one for the image)?

  • That works except that it also puts the headline block (from Generate Blocks) to the bottom

Put the 2 headlines into one container, so the structure would be:

    -Container
     -- GB image
     -- Container
       --- Headline
       --- Headline
  • Great now it works as I intended it. Thank you!

  • You are welcome   🙂
