Hero and Post block all messed up on all archives

  • Yea, hang on a moment.

  • Just did it but nothing changed.

  • I see. It’s weird. Even though I set the CSS printing method to “External file”, the CSS is still printed inline so there must be a caching system going on somehow. It definitely seems like a caching issue from your site.

Could you try clearing WordPress cache again?

  • I did it but still nothing happening. In fact, it looks a bit worse.

  • Actually, could you double-check with your Hosting Provider regarding server cache? I just checked and there seems to be one: https://share.zight.com/Jru51LzB

  • I just did, but it’s all through support tickets, so I’m just waiting.

  • Alright. Hope it goes well.

  • So I talked to A2, and we added LiteSpeed Caching to allow for server side flushing straight from the cPanel. Even after all that, there are still no changes and everything is as messed up as before and the client is complaining that this still isn’t fixed.

I turned back on the plugins for now until I got an answer from A2 and now that I did, you can turn the plugins back off, although I don’t think that’s the issue.

  • I just updated the GP theme to the new 3.4 version, brought the widget you created back to draft and republished my widgets and now the site is back! The elements display properly.

I just need to know how to get the sidebar back because that contains a lot of our ads.

  • How are you seeing the site right now? Did you do a rollback? This is what I’m seeing right now: https://share.zight.com/geuB4GJ5

  • That’s how I see it. No rollback. I just updated GeneratePress and then cleared cache. Then I went to elements, took your element and made it a draft and then took the two elements you made drafts and made them live again. Refreshed cache again and there it was.

So again, it’s now just getting the sidebar back.

  • I see. I added it back. It seems good now.

  • Hmmmm…. now that’s a bit messed up. Nothing as bad as the post grid and hero but still….. I’ll look into it. Thanks for helping me out all the way.

  • It seems good from my end. I added a screen recording of what I see in the Private Information field if you want to see it.

    You’re welcome!

  • Yea, please do. I’m curious.

  • I added the link in the Private Information field at the right.
