Read More Doesn’t Link

    ETA: it doesn’t work on my two other sites 🙁 I have put the admin login in the private information for them

    You’re welcome, Tawna!

    The code would work for all WordPress Excerpt Blocks so if you have other WordPress Excerpt Blocks that don’t have that issue, we’ll need to tweak the code.

    If you have such a Block, let me know and share the link to it.

    It doesn’t work on my two other sites 🙁 I have put the admin login in the private information for them – they are set up exactly like mydogguide.com I’m fairly certain

    In Appearance > Customize > Layout > Blog, can you update Read more to Read More to test for these two sites?

    I still haven’t updated my biggest site to WP 6.3 because of this conflict but I feel like I have to update at some point.

    Hi Fernando,
    I finally decided to update my last site that wasn’t updated with wordpress – it is my largest site and I am needing other things in the wordpress updates so I had to update. However, this code does NOT work on this site. See the ‘read more’ not working on this page:

    Hi Fernando and team – I have a site the read more is not working – please look back in this topic to see this was a GP problem and please help me get it fixed. I have applied the same thing to this site that I did with the other sites (as was recommended.) The site it is not working on is itstartedwithablog.com

    I replace Read More with Read more in the code. It’s case sensitive which is why it didn’t work at first.

    Thank you! I do remember that being sensitive and I checked the Read More in the GP customize before posting but I didn’t check to make sure it matched in the code 🙂
